1.  Today the groups began their INDIA project presentations - WOW!   They are going great.  The maps are very well done and so interesting....the art, lettering, pictures greatly enhance the visual.

2.  Monday the three remaining groups will make their presentation.

3.  On Monday, after the presentations, we will grade the study questions for pages 477 - 484.

2.  Your 8-day INDIA project is due completed tomorrow.  You were graded today on having your researched, typed (3 x 50 subjects done and in-class today (it was worth 100 points).

3.  The completed project (drawn map, colored, locations identified, researched subjects displayed, titile, etc) is due 
 tomorow in 7th period class.   Some of you have a GREAT start!.

For classwork today, we read pages 477 - 484 and answered the study questions - all due Thursday!

The INDIA project is due Friday, 4/17:  tomorrow bring your researched, typed subjects to put around the map - this is for grade!
(Typed means 12 font, approximately 3" x 5", answering questions WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY, HOW.

1.  Read and do study questions for pages 475 - 477.

2.  Continue to research subjects on India and find pictures, alphabet, art to contribute to the map.  All of the researched
     material should be typed and brought in by Thursday to attach to the map presentation.

1.   Continue to research your 3 - 5 topics for the INDIA project - all due this Friday, 4/27.

2.  Tonight, read pages 470 - 474 and answer study questions.

1. The INDIA project will be due next Friday, April 27th.   This entails a hand-drawn enlarged map of India and noted 
    geographical locations and features.   The map will need to be colored.

2. Each student in the group project must also research and type up WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY, and HOW
     information on their designated 3 - 5 subjects.  This information needs to be typed up (12 font, approximately  3 x 5,
     and posted around the map of India.  Additional art would enhance the grade - alphabet, pictures, etc.

We have worked two day on this in class.   Next week, we will have reading assignments and study questions in class.
When the daily assignment is completed, groups may work on their INDIA projects (research, drawing, etc).

3. This weekend, do research on YOUR designated subjects (you listed them on your homework assignment sheet).

1. Today we took the Chapter 18 test (open notes).

2.  Today and tonight for homework, please do the TERMS for Chapter 19.

1. Finish Chapter 18 Activity 4 on Marco Polo.
