Fri., May 18-L29&30 Vocab Test; GE 16-23 #1-7 (KNOW the answers to the other questions also)

Check PASS.  Take L29 Vocab Test if you missed it on Fri., May 13.  It will be gone at 3:00 on Fri., May 20!

Mon., May 7-V29; textbook: we will start reading Romeo and Juliet (R&J) in class.  If you miss anything you will have to catch up on your own.  There will be quotes and notes to take for the test.  There will be a quiz at the end of each act.  If you miss the quiz, you will have to do the questions at the end of the act.

Tues., May 8- We will continue in R&J.

Wed., May 9-  We will continue in R&J. 

Edit your timed write (your rough-rough draft) and document your CD's when you type it.   Thursday, May 17 your typed final draft will be due.  Be sure every body paragraph should have two intext citations (page numbers).  Upload to turnitin.com before midnight.

 Thurs., May 10-Your typed rough draft (hardcopy) is due in class (you will lose points if you "leave it on the printer."  If there is time, we will proof read in class so bring your red pen and highlighter

Mon., April 1-V28; Textbook: start work on Lit. Terms 31. to 35. (Get caught up on any you have missed and also start typing the ones you have written out.)  Start abridged version of Great Expectations Chapters 1-8.  There will be an assignment due on Friday.  Chapters 1-8 are p.725-750.

Tues., May 3-Test on The Chosen.  Bring novel and CBT's sheet (with John 5:39 written out in the top margin) to prepare for timed write and worldview essay.  Also bring textbook to work on Friday's assignment.

Wed., May 4-Crossword puzzle and Core Biblical Truths worksheet due.

Timed Write on The Chosen.  Also bring textbook

Thurs., May 5-Bring text and comp book; we will introduce Romeo and Juliet

Tues., Apr. 24-The Chosen 15 & 16 questions and quiz

Wed., Apr. 25- The Chosen

Thurs., Apr. 26-The Chosen 17 & 18

Fri., Apr. 27-L27 (I will not read the words) and Lit. Terms 21. to 25. quiz 

As you read The Chosen,  look for examples showing how all are equal in God's sight and how all are made in God's image.  How are we all alike?  How are we different?  Mark this in your book.  You will need page numbers to back up your argument.

CHECK PASS

If you missed L 25&26 Vocab Test, you have until Friday at 3:00 to make it up or it will become a ZERO unless there are extenuating circumstances.

You will receive an extra GET OUT OF JAIL FREE pass which will enable you to turn HOMEWORK in ONE day late.

If you have an excused absence, you have two days to turn work in.

If you have a school activity (for instance, a game), you should turn your work in before you leave unless you leave before school starts.

Extra Credit: Go online to a site such as My Hebrew Name, figure out your name in Hebrew (or choose one for yourself), print it, and on that paper total up the numerical value using the "code" on thepaper that was given to you titled "Gematrya.".  Remember that vowels don't count.

Another place to look for your name (you can choose one if your name is too "goyishe") is aish.com; look under name and birthday.
