Shalom! (that means hello, goodbye, and peace in Hebrew). I have been a Bible teacher here at Woodcrest since 2002. I currently teach Bible 2 and Bible 4 (and I have also taught Bible 3 in the past). By the grace of God, I'm a Jewish believer in Jesus, (a Hebrew-Christian, a Messianic Jew) and have been since 1993. How can someone be Jewish and still believe that Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of God? Actually it ought to be quite natural because Jesus and all His apostles were Jewish! My prayer is that more Jewish people would come to know, understand, and trust that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah! The Lord has blessed me to be able to attend Philadelphia Biblical University (B.A. in Bible and Christian Leadership) and He enabled me to move to Southern California to complete seminary at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University (M.A. Biblical and Theological Studies, Diversified). I am currently working on a Ph.D. in Educational Studies (Christian Education and Formation) at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. In addition to the amazing gift of salvation, the Lord has also blessed me with a wonderful Christian wife and son. My son Robert is 30 years old and works in New York City. My sister, brothers, and mother all live in Southern New Jersey and love visiting with them. Of course I miss my family "back east," but I feel confident that the Lord has directed me to minister to His beloved students at Woodcrest. It has been a joy to work with the students, faculty, staff, and administration of WCSS for the past eight years. Join me in thanking and praising God for His kindness and goodness!
